Privacy policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
PEAK LABS respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you place an order or contact us, we collect the information needed to process your order and respond to you: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number if provided, and your order details. When you browse the site, our platform provider Shopify also collects standard technical information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and how you interact with the site, including through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
We use your information to process and deliver orders, confirm payment, provide customer support, meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, protect against fraud, and improve the store. If you opt in to marketing emails, we will use your email address to send them; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We do not sell personal information.
Payments
Orders are paid by direct bank transfer. We see the payment reference and amount needed to match your transfer to your order. We never ask for, receive or store your banking passwords or card details.
Who we share information with
We share information only where needed to run the store: with Shopify, which hosts this website and processes data on our behalf; with delivery carriers, who receive your name and delivery address to deliver your order; and with government agencies or regulators where the law requires it. Shopify may process data outside Australia; its handling of your information is described in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep order records only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations, including tax record-keeping.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a privacy complaint by emailing us at onepercentmgmtt@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this website.
